Our Journey
Pelidum is a Dublin and Bratislava-based company founded in 2024 by veteran Trust & Safety experts. With over a decade of experience at Google, YouTube, Meta, and TikTok, we’ve tackled content moderation, policy, crisis management, election integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Having been a part of the early stages of Trust & Safety, seeing it evolve into a core business function, we now help businesses succeed with simple, cost-effective solutions built on industry best practices and Trust & Safety by Design.
Our team
Meet our team of seasoned Trust and Safety experts
Peter has over a decade of Trust & Safety experience, starting at YouTube in 2013, where he led policy efforts, implemented the NetzDG Law, and built global teams. He later led EU projects on algorithmic amplification and disinformation, advising VLOPs, platforms, and regulators.
Liam initially trained as a linguist before moving to Trust & Safety in 2015 when he joined the YouTube Policy team. He went on to spend four years at Meta where he worked on crisis management, NetzDG and elections integrity. He most recently worked at TikTok where he managed the implementation of the DSA.
Over his 15-year career, Mike trained in big data analytics and computer security. He spent a decade at Google developing operating systems, databases, and security products. Recently, he has been applying his expertise to T&S startups, leveraging emerging tech to keep the web safe.
Axelle has over a decade of experience in policy management in Trust and Safety, designing and implementing community guidelines and safety policies for platforms such as Airbnb or Yubo. She combines a background in social sciences and policy analysis with hands-on advisory work for online platforms. At Pelidum, she manages projects with NGOs, public institutions, and academic organisations to strengthen governance, user safety, and ethical platform practices.
Kiera has shipped multiple game titles, including Tales from the Borderlands and Star Trek Online, across PC, console, mobile, and VR/XR. She has extensive experience in live-service operations and complex technical projects. Her engineering work spans automation pipelines, test frameworks, and data analysis tools for large-scale development in both gaming and enterprise.
